What a weekend! New York City is quite the busy place and a culture shock for this southern gal for sure!
As soon as I walked outside my house this morning the humidity and hot air suffocated me as my hair became a greasy frizz ball and reality sunk in that I was no longer in Boulder. We’ve been home for just a few days and I already miss the cool weather and dry air that Boulder greeted us with. Heck, I think I missed that the second I stepped off the plane.
Joey and I originally decided that we were going to stay home last weekend and keep things low key. That quickly changed Saturday morning when Joey asked me if I wanted to go pick blackberries.
We had a wonderful three day weekend that went by way too fast!
Last weekend, we headed 12 hours north to the town I was born in, Greenville, Mississippi. We went for my cousin’s wedding. We had such a wonderful time! It had been 11 years since my last visit to Greenville.
We had a wonderful time this weekend celebrating Easter and our resurrected King!
