This weekend we worked on my latest DIY project. This is probably the biggest DIY I’ve ever done and of course I decided to start it on the last day of summer.
What a weekend! New York City is quite the busy place and a culture shock for this southern gal for sure!
Here's a little peek at what our weekend (week) looked like with having Daddy home with us.
As soon as I walked outside my house this morning the humidity and hot air suffocated me as my hair became a greasy frizz ball and reality sunk in that I was no longer in Boulder. We’ve been home for just a few days and I already miss the cool weather and dry air that Boulder greeted us with. Heck, I think I missed that the second I stepped off the plane.
Last weekend, we stayed a few days at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa in Orlando for a little weekend staycation.
For the weekend, two of my girl friends and I stayed at The Postcard Inn in St. Petersburg, FL. for a short beach getaway.
We had such a wonderful weekend celebrating the fathers in our lives.
Joey and I originally decided that we were going to stay home last weekend and keep things low key. That quickly changed Saturday morning when Joey asked me if I wanted to go pick blackberries.
Join me in my journey as a wife, new mom and a baker as I learn to balance all of life's aprons.
