The holiday season is here! That means lots of cooking, baking, holiday parties, cookie exchanges and more. This holiday season I will be baking with Betty. Betty Crocker has tons of easy delicious recipes that will take less time in the kitchen and give me more time with my family and friends.
Last weekend, I found Gingerbread Cookie Mix at Walmart! Betty Crocker has this mix on the shelves for the holidays.
It is so good! I decided to make Gingerbread Cookie Bark. This recipe is quick and easy to make. It's perfect for the holidays. Even those of you who claim to be “non-bakers” can make this recipe. Trust me! Your party guests and cookie eaters will be impressed. So sign up for those cookie exchange parties this year, put on your prettiest apron and lets whip up this delicious treat!
Begin by preparing the cookie dough according to the directions on the package. It says to stir but I always give it a quick mix in my Kitchen aid mixer.
Then press the dough onto your prepared baking sheet. I found that it was easier and much quicker to roll out the dough using my rolling pin. If you do this just make sure to sprinkle some flour on the dough and the rolling pin because the dough is very sticky.
Next, bake it for 10 minutes or until the edges are set. Let the cookie bark cool completely.
Then melt the vanilla chocolate bark according to the package and spread it over the bark.
Lastly, add your sprinkles, break the bark into medium sized pieces and enjoy!
Not bad huh? This bark is so delicious people will think you worked in the kitchen for hours.
