This week I chopped my hair off! Check it out!
1. ) A few weeks ago I entered in a giveaway for a $75 to Pink Blush. They are an online boutique that sells maternity clothes AND clothes for women who AREN’T pregnant. Anyhow, one of the things I picked out was this super cute robe. I figured it was time to hang up my postpartum moo moo for something a little more stylish!
2.) This week I chopped my hair off! Yep! I have realized that ever since I cut it short after having Ava it just keeps getting shorter. I just don’t have much time in the morning for all that hair and blow drying. Now, I just have to figure out how to style my new do.
3.) A few weeks ago I tried out a women’s group with our church. The group was about how to be an excellent wife. After attending I felt like it just wasn’t the right fit for me at this time in my life. So I have signed up for another women’s group that is reading the book Without Rival. I haven’t met with them yet but I am really enjoying the book so far. You can find the book here.
4.) Tonight our church is having an event called Sisterhood. It is a ladies ministry of Grace City Church that gathers for the purpose of being encouraged, equipped, and mobilized to live out our God given purpose. This is something they have quarterly. I have never been before and I don’t know a soul that is going but I think it will be fun and a great way to meet some new ladies. With food trucks, praise and worship, and great fellowship it should be a fun ladies night out!
5.) Lately, we have been thinking about purchasing a potty for Ava for our bathroom. She is 18 months old, which I know is pretty young for potty training but I thought it would be a good idea to put a little potty for her in the bathroom. Hopefully she will be curious about it. This is the one we are looking at. Do you have any suggestions, ideas, or tips and tricks for potty training?
I also found some books to read to her. I found this one here.
