Thank goodness it is Friday. Joey comes home today and I am so excited! This week I am sharing a mommy fail moment, a little sneak peek of our fall home decor and more! So let the fun begin.
1.) Mommy Fail Moment: This week Ava’s daycare had a character parade. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to make it to the store to get her a costume. I felt like such a horrible mom. Towards the end of the day her teachers sent me this picture and I immediately started crying tears of joy. One of her teachers brought in extra costumes for kids who didn’t have one. She looks so happy all because a thoughtful teacher cared about her. It’s such a great feeling to know she is in such good hands at daycare. It makes my heart so very happy!
2.) An Ava Update: Ava took some of her first steps not too long ago. Every day she takes more and more steps. It’s so cute! She will take a few steps and gets excited and goes faster and then she falls down. Pretty soon she will moving right along.
3. Game Day Appetizer: Last weekend I made this Mexican Buffalo Chicken dip for Game Day. It was so delicious! If you like Mexican food and Buffalo Chicken dip then I highly recommend trying it. I also discovered that Old El Paso now sells mini tortilla boats. These are perfect for your game day appetizers.
4. Fall Decor Sneak Peek: Last weekend I decorated our house for fall. I am still working on my blog post for it but here is a little sneak peek. I can’t wait to show you the rest!
5. The Holiday's are Coming: On the radio the other day they mentioned that there are only 5 more Thursday’s until Thanksgiving. That just seems crazy. I am so excited though! I love the holiday’s. This year Joey is on call for Thanksgiving so we will be staying in town for Thanksgiving. It looks like I will get to cook my first turkey. Oh goodness! I have already been searching Pinterest and writing down questions to ask my parents. Any tips or tricks will be greatly appreciated!
