This week a little peek at our home improvement wish list, a positive podcast to listen to, the softest UV UPF apparel and more...
One. Last weekend Joey and I made a home improvement wish list. On our list are these light fixtures from Lowes. I am so in love with them!
Two. Right now Ava is in this dress-up phase. She goes into her room and picks out clothes she wants to wear and tries to put them on. Of course it never matches. Her favorite is trying on all of her shoes. She loves to put two different shoes on her feet. If you try to suggest an outfit that matches or shoes that go together she SCREAMS! Last night, this was the outfit she picked out for bedtime. Shoes and all!
Three. One of my friends mentioned the Gretchen Ruben podcast on her Five on Friday a few weeks ago. I bought her book and tried reading it a few summers ago but never finished it. This week I started to listen to her podcast on the way to work and LOVE IT! So far I have been working on the one minute challenge my friend shared and getting rid of unnecessary things in storage. Next week I am going to try their "Power Hour" suggestion.
Four. Did you know May is Skin Cancer Awareness month? Sun protection is so important! Lately, we have been loving Shedo Lane’s UV UPF 50 clothing. We recently received this romper from them and this open back shirt. This has to be the SOFTEST clothing I have ever owned! It’s stylish, comfy, and protects my skin from the sun. Ava loves her romper. The other day she went into her closet and pulled it out for me to put on her. It makes me feel good to know she can wear something that is comfortable and protects her precious baby skin from the harmful sun.
We received these products from Shedo Lane in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Five. A few months ago ALDI released their baby line of products. There are so many products we love from their baby line. We’ve tried their pouches (all organic), puffs, and yogurt melts. All are great products and much cheaper than other brands. We have also been using their diapers for Ava. I am happy to say that their diapers work really well and are a great price! Some nights, depending on how Ava is sleeping she will leak out of her diaper. This has happened with ALL brands of diapers. It happens when she sleeps on her knees but when she lays flat on her back or belly we don’t have any problems.
