This week I'm talking about God's timing, our weekend ahead and more...
One. Yesterday, was one of the hardest days of my life as we had to say goodbye to our fur baby Georgia. I keep replaying the whole thing in my head. Wondering if I held her enough during that time, or if she knew I loved her. I know it's crazy to think like that but it's just something my mind is doing. My husband tells me I shouldn't focus on the last 20 minutes of her life, but rather think about all the love and happy memories we shared with her. I'm definitely trying to wipe yesterday from my memory and think of only the good times. I sure could use some of your prayers to help me.
So to make this more of a positive, one of the happiest memories I have of Georgia is when she met Ava. I was worried about how she would react to Ava but from the moment she met her I knew they were going to be the best of friends.
Two. God's Timing. I think God's timing is always interesting. This weekend we have reservations at a resort and spa in Orlando that we made a few months ago. When all of this happened with Georgia we were going to cancel our reservations but we didn't. We decided it would be a great way to get out of the house and celebrate the memories of Georgia without the constant reminders around our home that she is no longer with us. I am hoping it will be a great time.
Three. Have you watched the movie A Dog's Purpose or read the book? My friend highly suggested it. She said it will make me feel better about losing Georgia. I watched the trailer and definitely think I am going to watch the movie next week or maybe even today.
Four. Last weekend, I had a little beach trip with some of my girl friends. After sharing about our weekend I had a lot of people ask about our bathing suits. My two friends bought their bathings suits from Cupshe.com you can also find them on Amazon. I've included the links below. My bathing suit came from JCPenny's last year on clearance for $10! I did find one similar to it below.
Five. Let's talk cookie butter! I went to Trader Joe's for my second time a few weeks ago and picked up two jars of cookie butter. I bought one jar of the creamy cookie butter and one jar of the crunchy. Oh my! Crunchy cookie butter is the way to go. They say it's good to put on pancakes, waffles, or dip pretzels in it but we prefer to eat it right off the spoon. I think we finished the jars off in two weeks. Anyone else a fan of cookie butter.
Happy Friday Everyone!
