This week my FAVORITE sandals for the summer, one pan dinners, a mommy and daddy date night penciled in on the calendar and more...
1.) Favorite Summer Sandal: My go-to sandals for summer time are Ipanema sandals. I have two pair already and I love them! They are made using a super soft and durable Flexpand 100% recyclable plastic. It almost feels like a super soft rubber. This material makes them perfect for all environments including the beach and rainy days. I wear mine to the beach every year and the salt water doesn’t ruin them. They're also dressy enough to wear to work. When I was pregnant I lived in these shoes. They were the only things I could get on my swollen feet. Right now, this is the pair I am loving. I might need to purchase these for our trip this summer to Colorado.
2.) One Pan Dinners: I LOVE one pan dinners. They make things so easy! For both of these one pan dinners I cooked them in the oven on 375 degrees for about 35 to 40 minutes. I stir the veggies and flip the meat half way through. Sometimes the time will vary depending on the meat I am cooking.
I have tried this with frozen and fresh veggies and both turn out delicious! If I know the meat will take longer to cook than my vegetables I will wait and add the veggies halfway through the cooking time.
We also purchase heavy duty foil from SAM’s club to make the clean up super easy.
3.) Hair Color: So now that I’ve had my short do for a little while it’s time to add some color to it. This is what I have been brainstorming so far.
4.) Dry Shampoo: Speaking of hair… I am a big lover of dry shampoo. Just recently another blogger recommended the Bastie Dry shampoo. I am headed to Ulta today to try and find me a bottle of their hint of color dry shampoo for brunettes. I guess they have dry shampoo that has a hint of color in it for blondes and brunettes. I LOVE dry shampoo but I don’t like how it enhances my grey hair. I need something to cover it! Haha! So I am going to give this a try if I can find it and let you know how it works out.
5.) Date Night: My husband introduced me to the band Rebelultion and I think we are planning to go see them play in Cocoa at the end of July. I am super excited! Hopefully we can make it a little mommy and daddy weekend getaway.
Happy Friday Everyone!
