The weekend before last some of our close friends helped me throw Joey a surprise party to celebrate his success of becoming a lineman. Everything worked out so well. Joey went to go play disc golf with some of his friends in the morning and when he returned...SURPRISE! He had no clue!
I kept everything simple very simple. For the food I went with some Publix party platters. I ordered them online with my specifications and they are all set and ready to go when I picked them up Saturday. My friend also made her delicious Buffalo Chicken Dip. I love that stuff! For dessert I made one of Joey's favorites, Churro Cupcakes.
For the decor I used two different types of wrapping paper for the table runner. I love this idea because it's super cheap, easy, and you can just throw it away when you are done. I also found some antique insulators at the Lakeland Vintage Warehouse to add to the table decorations and then added some balloons.
When Joey showed up he was so surprised!
We spent the day eating yummy food, hanging out in the pool, visiting with friends, hugging and kissing babies, playing hide and seek with the kids, laughing and sharing stories.
It truly was an awesome day celebrating this amazing man!
