While I was pregnant many of my mommy friends would say, "Oh, just wait until you have pregnancy brain!". I didn't quite understand what they meant. I discovered that "pregnancy brain" also known as forgetfulness happens to women during pregnancy. I read somewhere that it has to do with the hormones changing during pregnancy. I don't really get how it all happens but I do know this, PREGNANCY BRAIN IS LEGIT! During my pregnancy I would forget things here and there like meetings I scheduled for work, where I placed something, or grabbing things from the grocery store. I found those to be normal though in anyone's life. It wasn't until AFTER my pregnancy that I noticed the true signs of pregnancy brain and boy are they full throttle. Here are some things I forget on a regular basis.
Whether these forgetful things are pregnancy brain or me just going crazy. Which could just very well be true. Here are 6 ways I cope with my forgetfulness and they just might help you too.
I am not sure if this forgetfulness is truly pregnancy brain or just part of getting older. For now, I am going to keep it as "pregnancy brain" and ignore the whole getting old part.
